Croissances, recent series by artist Jane Puylagarde, is the culmination of more than thirty years of meticulous, almost obsessive work. This book presents the canvases painted by Jane Puylagarde upon her return from a transformative trip to Japan, as well as the exhibition text, written by Gilles Heuré, who tells us, "How can the infinitely small and the infinitely large be reconciled?" This is probably the question that Jane Puylagarde, although she probably did not state it that way, has been asking herself for years. This first publication of Jane Puylagarde aims to answer it.
